I have spent almost a month here recuperating from a fall and a failed knee surgery. The entire staff have been super supportive in helping me on my road to recovery. The chef and food services have never dissappointed and always delivered delicious meals, making my recovery a whole lot easier to endure. The PT's and OT's have helped me to regain strength and skills so I can safely go home. The activities coordinator and staff have made every effort to help us residents stay socially involved and active which aided in my good mental health while I was here. I was very impressed with the comprehensive care from the medical doctors and nurses whose care has been superb. Lastly, the CNA's have been the best I've ever worked with. Very caring and helpful. Thank you again everyone for your help and treatment.

The place has recently changed names to Mission Point Transitional Care. I’ve been here since the end of April. I have had nothing but excellent care from nurses, CNA’s, and the physical & occupational therapists.

Every room is private and the hospital bed has no guard rails (which could be a safety issue), but the room reminds me of a someone’s home bedroom, with a dresser, bedside cabinet and flat screen tv. Each bathroom has a roll-in shower with a shower bench. The floor is carpeted, and no cold linoleum.

One individual, the activities director, Theresa goes out of her way to see if patients want to come and do various activities. She also offers a coffee bar with lattes during the morning on weekdays. I was able to do painting, make jewelry, play games with other patients. If it wasn’t for Theresa, I would have been bored out of mind. Although they have cable tv, you can only watch so much tv, sleep or whatever in your room.

The hospital has a garden atrium which is home to a desert tortoise named, Wild Bill. He’s super friendly and comes right to you.
It was good to be able to go outside and visit with Bill. See photos.

I do recommend Mission Point therapy hospital. I get discharged in two days.

Amazing place to work, love all the staff. Activities department always has fun and engaging activities. The tortoise Wild Bill who lives in the courtyard is so cool. Smaller boutique style facility makes the care great too!
